너희가 너의 생애 동안 배울 수 있는 가장 중요한 기술 중 하나는 귀를 기울이는 그 능력이다. 그것은 다른 이들이 만드는 소리를 단지 듣는 것이 아니고, 그것은 너의 전 존재로 이해하는 그 능력이다. 인간들은 많고 많은 방식으로 교신하며... 목소리들은 그 퍼즐의 단지 하나의 조각일 뿐이다. 너의 가슴과 영혼을 가지고 귀를 기울여라, 진실로 그들이 그들의 눈으로 말하고 있는 것을 보아라. 응답한다는 유일한 의도로 듣기보다는, 그들이 정말로 말하고 있는 것을 이해하도록 우주에 도움을 요청해라. 사람이 경청 되고 이해될 때, 변화가 내부에서 일어나며, 그들 자신과 다른 이들에 대한 신뢰가 지어지기 시작한다. 신뢰와 함께 너희들 각자가 그처럼 풍부하게 받을 자격이 있는 평화가 온다. - 창조자

 

One of the most important skills you can learn in your lifetime is the ability to listen. It is not just hearing the sounds that others make, it is the gift of understanding with your whole being. Humans communicate in many, many ways…voices are just one piece of the puzzle. Listen with your heart and soul, truly see what they are saying with their eyes. Rather than listening with the sole intent of responding, ask The Universe for assistance to understand what they are really saying. When a person is heard and understood, a change takes place within; a trust in themselves and others begins to build.
