"심지어 이 세상의 일이, 아무리 중요하다고 해도, 네가 이 일을 하는 방식만큼 중요한 것은 없다. 의로운 삶에 대한 물질적 보상은 없지만, 심오한 만족감이 - 성취감의 의식이 - 있으며, 이것은 어떤 생각할 수 있는 물질적 보상도 초월한다."
