투사(投射)의 법칙 The Law of Projection 투사의 법칙은 사람의 삶의 이야기의 사건들을 투사하거나 묘사하거나 창조하는 영화가 사람의 의식 안에 저장되어 있고, 단지 내부로부터만 변경될 수 있다고 말한다. 사람이 그 자신의 의식 안에 가지고 있는 친밀한 대화들, 태도들, 관계는 삶의 외부 스크린에서 체험들로 반사된다. 세계를 재방영 프로그램들, 쓰레기 영화들, 드라마들, 비극들, 병과 적대감들 대신, 새롭고 즐거운 체험의 장으로 보고 싶은 자들은 그러한 영화들, 개념들, 이미지들이 그들의 [마음속] 극장으로 들어가도록, 그들의 저장 금고를 채우도록 허용하는 것을 거부해야 한다. 그러한 쓰레기들의 영화들을 찾거나 허용하거나 즐기는 자들은 확실히 그들의 카메라들을 궁극적으로는 그들의 외부 생활의 일부가 될 수 있는 자료들로 채우고 있다. 오직 가장 높고, 가장 맑고, 가장 좋은 생각들, 아이디어들, 말들, 체험들, 이미지들로 그들의 스튜디오를 채우게 허용하는 자들은 기쁨과 예술적 삶을 보여주는 영화들을 창조하고 투사할 것이다. The Law of Projection The Law of Projection states that the film that projects, depicts, and creates the events of one’s life story, is stored within one’s consciousness, and can only be changed from within. The intimate conversations, attitudes, and the relationship one has within one’s own consciousness, is reflected in experiences on the outer screen of life; one is both camera and projector of his life story. Those who wish to see a world premier of new and joyous experiences instead of reruns, trash films, soap operas, tragedies, illness and hostilities, must refuse to bring or to allow such films, concepts or images to enter their theaters or be filed into their storage banks. Those who seek out, allow, or enjoy filming such trash, do surely fill their cameras with the material that may eventually become part of their outward life. Those who allow only the highest, clearest and best thoughts, ideas, words, experiences and images to enter their studio, shall create and project films that show a life of joy and art.
