"중력은 전능한 가닥인데, 그 위에 모든 것들이고, 모든 것들을 가득 채우며, 그 안에 모든 것들이 존재하는 영원한 신의 보편적인 물질적 장식을 구성하는 빛나는 별들, 타오르는 태양들, 선회하는 구체/행성들이 꿰어져 있는 그 가닥이다."
